Search Type Definitions

Start With - the first characters of the search column  [EXAMPLE] a value of '012' in the search input field might include "012345" in the results grid

Contains - the characters in any position within the search column  [EXAMPLE] a value of '012' in the search input field might include "234501234" in the results grid

Equal To - the entire string of characters within the search column  [EXAMPLE] a value of '012' in the search input field would ONLY include "012" in the results grid

Ends With - the last characters of the search column  [EXAMPLE] a value of '012' in the search input field might include "122345012" in the results grid

Punctuation - similar to the Equal To selection, but without considering punctuation and spaces  [EXAMPLE] a value of '18W15K' in the search input field might include "1/8W 1-5K" in the results grid

Trim Numeric - similar to the Punctuation selection, but only considers numbers  [EXAMPLE] a value of '1815' in the search input field might include "1/8W 1-5K" in the results grid

Soundex - the sound of the characters in the search column
