Licensing
The Electronic Catalog feature is included
in all core editions.
Access
This module may be accessed utilizing multiple methods:
- From the ribbon:
- Left-click Inventory.
- Left-click
the Electronic Catalog button;
the Electronic Catalog search
window will appear.
- From the shortcut menu:
- Left-click Inventory.
- Left-click
; the Electronic Catalog search window will
appear.
Procedures
- Collect a vendor and/or manufacturer catalog(n) a list of part numbers, along with related data (such as pricing and lead times), which are manufactured and/or supplied by a particular vendor..
- Input catalog information:
NOTE: Part
numbers input into the Electronic Catalog are not automatically added
to the Parts Master; you may add an unlimited number of part numbers
to the catalog, even if your company may potentially never order,
stock, or sell the items.
- Manually enter catalog information, OR
- Import catalog information utilizing
the built-in import utility.
- Reference the Electronic Catalog when researching
manufacturers and/or suppliers for sourcing purposes.
- Create RFQs directly from the Electronic
Catalog.
