Add Removal Part to MNT Card

Purpose: To add a removal part (line type 33) to an in house card on an aircraft maintenance work order.

NOTE: This process does not perform the removal procedure (link pending) required to remove the component from the aircraft records.

NOTE: This process is identical when the card is in edit mode and when it is not.

1. Initiate the addition of the removal part(n) in reference to work orders, a component which is listed to be removed from the aircraft or assembly during the course of the work order and identifed by the line type '33':
   
   NOTE: There are two (2) methods for initiating the addition of a removal part:

1. From the Parts tab of the card:
   
   
   Left-click the Add button then left-click Remove Component.
2. From the Parts tab of the MNT work order:
   
   

1. Left-click the Add button then left-click Remove Component

2. The Maintenance Card search window will appear.
   
   

3. The card to which the removal part should be added may be selected by double-clicking the applicable record or by highlighting the applicable record and left-clicking the OK button.

2. The Remove Component window will appear.
   
   
1. Left-click the ellipsis in the Removed P/N field and the Partnumber search window will appear. The part(s) that should be added to the card as removal parts may be selected by highlighting the applicable record(s) utilizing the left-click, the Mark All button and/or the UnMark All button and then left-clicking the OK button.
2. Left-click the ellipsis in the Condition Remove field and the Condition List search window will appear. The condition of the part being removed may be selected by double-clicking the applicable record or by highlighting the applicable record and left-clicking the OK button.
3. If an installation part (directly associated with the removal part) should be added to the card, select the Yes radio button in the Re-Install radio button array.
   
   NOTE: If the No radio button in the Re-Install radio button array is selected, only the removal part will be added to the card.
4. If the Re-Install is marked as Yes, do the following (if marked as No, continue to e):
1. The Re-Install P/N field will be populated with the part number selected in the Removed P/N field. If a different part number will be installed, left-click the ellipsis in the Re-Install P/N field and the Partnumber search window will appear. The part that should be added to the card as installation part (related to the removal part above) may be selected by highlighting the applicable record(s) utilizing the left-click, the Mark All button and/or the UnMark All button and then left-clicking the OK button.
2. Left-click the ellipsis in the Condition Re-Install field and the Condition List search window will appear. The condition of the part (related to the removal part above) being installed may be selected by double-clicking the applicable record or by highlighting the applicable record and left-clicking the OK button.
5. Left-click the OK button on the Remove Component window tool bar.
3. The removal (and installation, if necessary) part(s) will be added to the grid on the Parts tab of the card.
