Add Misc Charge(s)

Purpose: To add miscellaneous charges(n) in Pentagon, the six (6) fields that may be used to identify and categorize miscellaneous charges (or discounts): (a) on any sales document that will be (or have been) billed to the customer, and (b) on any purchasing document that will be (or have been) billed by the vendor to a particular document.

NOTE: The default configuration of miscellaneous charges on any document will depend upon the default setup [link] within the system. However, the configuration of each miscellaneous charge (whether applicable to the document or line) may be modified on the Setup tab.(link pending)

From any sales or purchasing document in edit mode :

1. For miscellaneous charges at the document level, left-click the Charges tab (link pending).
   
   
2. For miscellaneous charges at the line level, enter on the Charges sub-tab of the Lines tab (link pending).
