Associate Vendor with Category

Purpose: To associate a particular vendor with a particular category

NOTE: This association is primarily utilized in AutoSourcing and converting RFQ from a sales quote.

From an existing vendor file:

1. Left-click the Opt (Options) button on the Vendor File window tool bar and a menu will appear.
   
   

2. Left-click 1. Applicable Categories and the Categories For window will appear.
   
   

3. Left-click the Add button on the Categories For window tool bar and the Inventory Category List search window will appear.

4. The applicable category may be selected by double-clicking the applicable record or by highlighting the applicable record and left-clicking the OK button.

5. The selected category will appear in the grid of the Categories For window.
