Exchange Manager

Purpose: To describe the features of the Exchange Manager module.

Licensing

From the License Details (link pending) window, go to the General section of the Modules section. The Exchange Manager line will identify whether or not your license includes the Exchange Manager Module .

Access

This module may be accessed utilizing multiple methods:

1. From the main menu screen:
1. Left-click the Operations button; the Operations window will appear.
2. Left-click the Exchanges button; the Exchange Manager window will appear.
2. From the ribbon:
1. Left-click Operations.
2. Left-click the Exchange Manager button; the Exchange Manager window will appear.
3. From the shortcut menu:
1. Left-click Operations.
2. Left-click Exchange Manager; the Exchange Manager window will appear.

Procedures

1. Perform a Customer Exchange for a Part in Stock
1. Customer Pays Exchange Fee PLUS cost of Core Overhaul
2. Customer Pays Flat Exchange Fee and Returns Serviceable Core
3. Customer Pays Flat Exchange Fee and Returns Overhauled Replacement
4. Customer Failure to Return Core
2. Perform a Brokered Exchange (Customer Exchange for a Part not in Stock)
1. Customer Pays Exchange Fee PLUS cost of Core Overhaul
2. Customer Pays Flat Exchange Fee and Returns Serviceable Core
3. Customer Pays Flat Exchange Fee and Returns Overhauled Replacement
4. Customer Failure to Return Core
3. Perform a Vendor Exchange
1. Vendor Charges Exchange Fee PLUS cost of Core Overhaul
2. Vendor Charges Flat Exchange Fee and Requires the Return of a Serviceable Core
3. Vendor Charges Flat Exchange Fee and Requires the Return of an Overhauled Replacement
4. Convert Exchange to Outright Sale
5. Exchange Reporting
